Human Nature

I just said the wrong thing and pissed him off once again. It was unintentional, but I only sensed the sarcasm half an hour later (damn lag I know). Now to think of it, it probably came off as being selfish again.

I replied with my instincts, my first reaction. And obviously, that proved to be a horrible decision. No wonder people take time to think before replying, since I've just proven that replying immediately leads to terrible endings or interpretations.

Not a great start to Valentine's Day..

But nonetheless, I learnt something new today from 1 Corinthians 13:4-13.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love

It's impossible for mankind to love the way it's described and the only love that meets all the qualities above is God's love (: #truestory

I know I've posted this song before, but I can really relate to it.

Monday was good. I didn't have school but I went down to school at 11am because poor Sharon says no one can lunch with her. Went off to Clementi Mall in the afternoon and met up with Fion, the in-charge for the Red Bull girls. I had about 40 minutes to spare because she had a meeting and was delayed. And I wondered aimlessly around before dropping by at Popular to buy many useless pens.

Went back to hall and Sharon decided to skip her lessons (hooray, some entertainment for me). Collected hall dinner, forced down some food (I was starving but Artons kept hurrying me, "it starts at 6pm!"), and headed down to SRC to support the track team for the last IHG event. I didn't expect it to be so interesting. Results, Eusoff won overall for the track events :D I'm half an Euoffian :D

And last but not least,

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! :D
