Busy Like A Dog

My birthday just passed, that's great. I just turned 22, even though I'm pretty convinced that I still look 16. I spent my weekend at NUS Open House and it was pretty awesome (: Had fun hanging out with friends and chasing after mascots and 'talking' to Shawn Lee. Okay, just to clarify, Tanshunli is the one who's crazy over Shawn Lee and I took a photo (damn thick-skinned, went to ask him for a photo) just so I can show it to her. 

Anyway, the entire past week was crazily busy. And I predict this will stay for the rest of the weeks all the way till exams. By far the busiest semester in NUS I feel. That explains the entire week of no new blog entries. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday were all usual. Friday I had O Comm photoshoot and I stayed over in hall. Was so so so so tired, I slept right after my hair dried.. which was about 10plus. Woke up at 8am and went for the morning shift too thanks to Artons that idiot. Was supposed to do duty with him and Sean, but Daniu came and he was doing it alone, so I joined him. In short, I did the entire day of duty till about 6pm. 

Oh yeah, and I took photos with many mascots (: And Shawn Lee.

Sunday I had afternoon duty too. And the O Commers celebrated for the Pisces babies (: Thank you ColbyDaveLaiJunXian :D 

After that, hitched a ride from Caleb and went to J8 to meet Royalties for my birthday celebration. For once, most of them were early! So I was so surprised and touched because they were the first to book me for my birthday and despite being usually late, they were early/punctual!!! (: Had an awesome time with them (((: 

Monday was the 19th. Went to school and was supposed to reach at 12 to pass Sharon the transponder, but I was late. And when I reached, I saw Waikit sitting there with them lol. He wanted to pass me the cake personally even though he had lessons at 12! Sorry and thank you so much TerryPhoon :D The Starbucks Cheesecake was really really yummy even though it was half melted (: 

Went off to the library to study alone. And was supposed to meet Ah Cai for waffles at 4pm. When I went to meet her, she already bought the waffles! Super sweet (: Then she told me, "take a photo with the waffle"... and I posed for a photo. And I see everyone around me looking at me somehow. So I thought they were thinking I looked damn retarded posing for a photo with waffles, and I said, "I feel like I've never eaten a waffle before, so must take photo"... then somehow I realized there was something weird, so I turned and tadahhhh, Dave, Austen, Daniel and Abigail with the gigantic board!!! :D Super shockedddd I must say. They then made me do stupid things yadah yadah.. THANK YOU FRIENDS (: and I went off for meeting!

Development project meeting with Shaun, Nigel and Boon Heng. They bought me a cake too and it was super obvious, but I had to act as if I didn't know. Gave almost the entire cake to Nigel since I was full and then it was time for bible classes (:

Over to Lillian's house where they made yummy Kimbap for me :D And Joyce bought Ice Cream from Island Creamery (:

Loving My Life

Enjoying my busy life even though I barely have time to study. Interviews are so entertaining, they often make my day. Crazy interviewees will come into the room and do extremely retarded stuff that makes Ah Cai, Austen and I go mad laughing :D The next interview is only only going to be on Thursday, so that's 3 days without entertainment!

Okay on the other hand, no interviews means I get to study and catch up on my school work (:

Stayed over at Sharon's with Waikit and Hanxie on Friday night. I supposedly went there for mahjong, but they were sleepy by the time I went over. I reached Bishan house about 1145pm and realized I went to the wrong place. Super angry with myself for heading to the wrong place at that moment because I was sooooo shagged. Had Sports Camp meeting + Pubs stuff before I rushed home, got ready and headed over. So I had to take another bus to her place. But they drove out and fetched me from the bus stop so yay to nice friends.

Saturday was interview before studying and Art of Valor with Lebbs. Super sad towards the end and I tried hard to control my tears, but as usual, it was useless. Today was church before IT fair with Lebby's fam where I almost died in my heels.

Right, right. Happy happy now. I shall go read some stuff (:

Bee.Zee

Beezee week. Finished chionging my essay on Monday night, had Korean test on Tuesday. Wednesday was relaxed day though, no tests, no presentation, just interviews. Today was school-less day but I went to school for Sports Camp interview too. Yeap, I'm in the HR team for Sports Camp. So this week Ah Cai, Austen and I had to interview people who want to be councillors. 

Sometimes our reaction is, "hahahaha!!!".. But sometimes, it's "So boringgggg".. And sometimes it's *roll eyes*.. We're always hoping there are fun and funny people so they can keep us entertain for half an hour. But of course, not everyone is fun or funny.

Anyways, due to beezee week, I haven't been studying and I feel guilty x 1000. So yeaaaaa, it's time to get off my laptop and start studying. Ohhh, on a side note, I saw this little boy (maybe secondary 1) using a Macbook pro in the train. Rich kid siol, little boy in school uniform carrying Macbook pro to school. I only own mine when I was 19..

Wednesday there was this food eating competition organized by the Food Hunt Publicity Team to promote Food Hunt. So Nic got all the various houses House IC to form a team and eat.. so Ernest, Zhenyu and I were in the S House team. There were 5 cheese burgers (which Zhenyu ate), 2 Penyet and 2 Yong Tau Foo laksa. I was pretty useless because I ate really slowly. Ernest finished 1 Penyet and 1 Laksa and I only ate half of each. So we lost to this guy in A house who ate like Pacman (according to Zhenyu). Zhenyu described his mouth as "moving non-stop, chewing so quickly like a Pacman". lol.

Whenever I wear my orange dress, I have this feeling that people will think my favorite color is orange since my dress is orange, my handphone cover is orange, and my button on my Iphone is orange too.

Alright, I should at least study for an hour before I sleep :D

Why God?

Feeling like crap again just by thinking about internship. Seriously, I can't get any banks/companies and it's really sad! I always feel like crying whenever I think of it. No internships = no relevant work experience = no companies will want me next time. And worse thing is, no connections. Why don't I know anyone who's working in banks ))): Emo crap this internship stuff.

Realized there isn't school today because it's even week this week. So I tried doing my essay, and got stuck at 1200 words because I am not creative and I don't know what to recommend. And I started worrying about internships once again, and feel like crap again.

I really really really want God to send down his army of angels to help me.. but I've to keep telling myself this is all God's plan. The future looks bleak now. 

HELP. I NEED HELP DESPERATELY.

): And A further confirmed that my future is bleak by saying I'm Year 3 and if I don't get my internship this holidays, I'm gone )': But shall give him some credits for sending me his Biz list of internships, though it doesn't really help because I'M NOT IN BIZ!!! ): If only I was in Biz, it will be 10 times easier for me to secure an internship.
